Module wiring, DC collection, combiners and inverters installed to the design and to the conditions a Texas roof actually sees. Workmanship on the DC side is what determines whether the array still performs the way it was modeled in year eight.

AC collection, protection, metering and the utility interconnection — the part of a solar project most likely to move the schedule. Utility requirements and lead times are engaged at the start, because they will not compress later.

On buildings that keep operating

Commercial arrays go on working buildings. Roof access, path of travel, penetrations coordinated with the roofer and the roof warranty, and tie-in windows that do not interrupt the tenant — the constraints that decide whether the install is smooth.

Systems are tested and turned over with monitoring that actually reports — because an array that quietly underperforms costs exactly as much as one that works, and nobody notices without the data.

A roof reaches the end of its life while a live array sits on it. ZVRGE detaches and resets: modules brought down and labelled to the string map, the DC field isolated and locked out, attachments and flashing renewed alongside the roofing contractor, then rebuilt, re-torqued and re-commissioned — so what goes back up is the system that came down, not an approximation of it.

Storm damage, documented for the carrier

Hail and wind claims are decided on evidence, and the array is the part of a damaged roof an adjuster is least equipped to assess. We inspect it module by module, pull what the system was producing before and after, and write the repair scope in the detail a carrier needs to price it — then answer the technical questions that come back. The claim stays yours to settle; what we supply is the electrical evidence it turns on.

Service calls, including on arrays we did not build

Most solar service calls are not about the panels. Production drops, an inverter faults, a string goes dark, a rapid-shutdown device fails, or the monitoring simply stops reporting and nobody notices for a season. ZVRGE will diagnose and repair a system it did not install, and will tell you in writing what it found — whether or not the repair is ours to sell.

Yes — protection, metering and the interconnection application are part of the scope. On commercial solar the utility process is regularly the longest item in the schedule, so it starts at the beginning rather than after the array is built.
