Outside plant

Duct, innerduct and aerial routes between buildings and across sites, pulled at tensions and bend radii the cable is rated for. Fiber does not fail loudly when it is mishandled — it degrades, and the fault shows up as intermittent performance months later.

Inside plant

Backbone and horizontal runs, pathways, racks, patch panels and terminations inside the building — dressed and labeled so the rack is workable in three years, not just on the day it is handed over.

Splicing and termination

Fusion splicing and field termination with the connector and polish the application calls for. The difference between a link that just passes and one with real margin is entirely in the preparation, and it costs the same to do properly.

Tested, with the results in hand

OTDR traces and insertion-loss testing on every link, documented per fiber. A test result is what turns a fiber install from something that appears to work into something with a known loss budget — and it is what you need the day a link degrades.

Yes — duct, innerduct and aerial routes between buildings, and backbone, pathways, racks and terminations inside them. Campus work usually needs both, and splitting them between contractors is where responsibility for a marginal link gets lost.
